HEAD COACH DUSTY HUBBARD

Graduate of Hogansville High-All Region Athlete in Baseball and Football. West Georgia Player of the Year and received a scholarship to Southern Union JC, where they won the Alabama State JC Championship.He then signed with the West Georgia Braves and played in the Division II World Series, finishing 3rd in the nation. Hubbard's West Ga. record for most games played and started still stands.
Coach Hubb started coaching with West Ga as a graduate assistant in 1999. He soon joined Kevin Howard and the LaGrange College Panthers as Assistant Head Coach from 1999 to 2003. In those years the team broke all school records for wins, and won their first ever NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in 2003. In summer of 2001, Dusty also worked with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
In 2003, Coach Hubbard took his first step into prep coaching with the Villa Rica Wildcats as pitching coach and assistant football coach. In 2005, he came home as Head Baseball Coach and Football Defensive Coordinator for the Callaway Cavaliers. He is married to the former Miss Courtney Mucha, and they have one son, Bryce. Everyone in the Callaway family was relieved when they saw that Bryce got his looks from his mama!

COACH ASHLEY SUMMERLIN 6th year at Callaway as assistant coach
Coach Summerlin graduated Bainbridge(Ga.) High where he was a three year starter and all region performer.
He then attended Enterprise (Ala) Sate Jr. College and was a two year starter at third base.
He finished his college carrer at LaGrange College where he received All Conference honors and played on the 2003 National Championship team.
He is married to the former Lindsay Walberg of Newnan, Ga. (and how he landed such a lovely and charming lady we will never know!)

Coach Nick Drescher 3rd year at Callaway; Head JV Coach, Varsity Assistant Coach Coach Drescher graduated from Parkview (GA.) High School where he played 3 years varsity baseball. While playing at Parkview, Coach Drescher was part of 2 state championship teams. He platooned from being a starting pitcher and relief pitcher. He then attended LaGrange College and played one season. Coach Drescher graduated from LaGrange College with a degree in History and Masters of Arts in Teaching. He currently teaches 8th grade Georgia History at Callaway Middle School.
